SOHA CLINIC SURVEY

The South Okanagan Horse Association would like to offer clinics in the year 2006 and we welcome your input and suggestions.

Some of the clinics we have already come up with are (please check which clinics you would be interested in attending):

• Bandaging - the different types of bandages, suggested materials for bandages, how to safely apply the different bandages to your horse
• Trailering - safety checklist, what to do, what not to do, loading the problem horse
• Horsemanship - what the judge is looking for (ie: the ideal rider position, appointments of horse and rider)
• Reining - how a reining pattern is scored
• What is considered to be illegal and legal equipment for the different classes
• Preparing your horse for a show (how to) - braiding mane and tail, clipping, pulling manes, other tips and tricks
• Horse First Aid - what to do when your horse is injured or ill
